Day 6 - Big Bro's back-handed Birthday gift, Calendar revealed <<
As dawn approached Penny and Stuart continued the fire watch, speculating
on how they might have already failed the task. A few hours later,
'Birthday Girl' Helen arose looking like death warmed up! She would
spend her 23rd birthday cooped-up with her ten new friends (or enemies,
time will tell.)
Early afternoon, Elizabeth played garden tennis with Stuart while
Penny talked to Bubble about his school days. Upon being asked how
he found school, the cockney said that he loved it, but also intimated
that he was a little shit in the behaviour stakes. We believe him!
Later, Amma and Elizabeth had a conversation about snogging women,
both admitting that they had experience. Amma took this a stage
further by stating that she actually preferred to kiss a woman.
Is she gay, bi? It wasn't clear.
At around 3.30pm, Amma, Bubble and Penny were wrapping Helen's
presents from the group in some home-'weaved' wrapping paper. When
Penny left the room Amma asked Bubble if he seriously thought he
could have any women on the planet. "No," came his reply.
Then a smirk developed on his face and he added, " 99%
though!" The conversation turned to Penny and Amma declared
how pissed off she was with the schoolteacher's patronising ways;
Bubble sympathised. Her feelings were then made quite clear by saying,
"Penny, over a long period of time, would drive me fu*king
crazy."
An hour later, Paul visited the diary room to collect the Calendar
he'd had spent the two previous days taking photos for. It featured:
Narinda chopping wood, Brian under the shower, Elizabeth reading
in the den, Stuart tending the fire at night, Amma in a kind of
'growl' pose, Paul on the floor (with crutches?), Penny at the sink,
Dean with his guitar and Helen doing the splits on a rug. The results
were fantastic, with Amma's 'piccy standing-out as really capturing
her personality (not to mention her assets!) Expect to see a similar
12-month calendar available to buy soon.
At 5.30pm, Helen was called to the diary room. Upon entering she
was wished a Happy Birthday by the all knowing one. She was then
offered a shiny gold box as a present, which contained some of Helen's
dream possessions, a Gucci handbag and matching shoes. Over the
moon with her gift, she was then presented with an alternative option:
Helen could swap the designer items for a celebration party instead,
including Champagne and a takeaway meal. This was very cruel of
the all-knowing one who knew that Helen would kill to get them shoes!
After some deliberation, Helen went for the party as she thought
everyone else could do with a good 'nosh-up. When she told the others
though, Bubble revealed that if he'd been offered to watch the 'footy
or have a party, he'd have gone for the former and just kept his
mouth shut! He later said that he would have accepted the bag and
shoes and flogged 'em, as he was skint.
7.30pm and the party was in full swing. Helen received a rousing
rendition of Happy Birthday from the group and requested that all
dye their hair with the spray cans provided. Initially reluctant,
Bubble eventually joined-in and went for the 'blue rinse' look.
Helen's Mum had made a superb cake for the event, prompting Paul
to suggest that she might have hidden a file inside. No such luck;
just chocolate filling. After the meal, Stuart pulled an excellent
stunt, freaking everyone out by donning a special set of cat/alien
eye contact lenses.
Later in the evening, Naz (Narinder), clearly still pissed-off
at Helen for not getting her Asian name right, suggested to Penny
that this would be the blonde hairdressers last week in the house,
meaning she'd be the first to go.
After
a game of Twister, the group had consumed all 6 bottles of champagne
provided and the conversation turned a bit lewd. Then, during a
game of 'truth or dare,' Stuart stated that he would shag all the
girls but Penny. He then went on to mock her close relationship
with Paul which prompted her to say, "Fu*k you, arsehole"
to Stuart. It killed the atmosphere dead when Stuart picked-up on
the comment and made a huge deal out of it, first accepting Penny's
apology then saying that he wouldn't allow her to take it back.
Luckily Helen, who'd received the bumps earlier in the evening,
had crashed by this time so it didn't ruin her day.
At the bookies, Penny and Stuart (possibly Paul) are still the favourites
to be taking an early exit.
