Day 14 - Bubble's Birthday, Penny lets her hair down <<
Day 14 was Bubbles 25th Birthday but the birthday boy didnt
surface until midday; and that was only cos Stuart bounced
him off his bed a few times to wake him up! Upon walking into the
kitchen area, Bubble was presented with his gift a loaf of
bread. Great, nice prezzie. Not!
Bubble did, however, get an altogether more interesting present:
Whilst dean was in the garden he thought he heard the score of England
2, Greece Nil coming from afar. The housemates debated over
whether what Dean heard was genuine and got very excited. It was,
in fact, a newspaper journalist broadcasting the news via a megaphone
from outside the grounds. Bubble was well chuffed.
During the day Stuart led an aerobic class for the girls in the
garden. While the other boys looked on, Helen accused Paul of watching
her bouncing assets and started to become dubious about the boys
interest in their fitness activities!
Later, at around 5pm, Penny and Narinder had their own quiet
chat in the girls room. They discussed how superficial
everyone in the house was and Penny took the opportunity to bitch
about some of the housemates personal features. In walked
Brian, who was told that they were just chatting. Talking
or bitching? came Brians accurate response, which prompted
Penny to go into a rant.
With raised voice, she declared how she thought she would be leaving
the next day and how 7 people probably nominated her; it was actually
five. She then proceeded to have a real go about Amma, who was stood
within earshot. As the lap-dancer (whod riled Penny the previous
night just by brushing her hair) walked into the room, Brian quickly
changed the subject and made-out that theyd been discussing
something else. It was clear that Penny had become too controversial
to stay.
At
around 7.30pm, Big Brother threw a Blue (relevance:
Chelsea FC) birthday party for Bubble. The group were supplied with
blue and white face paints, wigs, and a foosball table, prompting
bubble to declare, This is quality, Big Brother. I am most
impressed." As Bubble is tee total, the housemates were supplied
with blue lemonade instead of alcohol.
As the evening wore on, despite the lack of booze Penny was acting
increasingly crazy, doing weird dances and flinging herself around
a fair bit. Later on, while discussing Penny with some of boys out
in the garden, Paul described her behaviour, saying that shed
been talking to herself and, Dancing around like an absolute
loon! When confronted by Paul, Penny said that she was scared
about the possible eviction and was just letting her hair down.
Diplomatically, Paul advised the teacher to go out in style
and not in the manner that shed been displaying of late.
Penny was first to go to bed but before the other girls joined
her, they had a discussion centred on Helen. It was intimated that
she wouldnt be going anywhere the following night.
