Vinnie's Mobile Gave The Game Away

During a conversation about phones this afternoon, Vinnie Jones admitted that the tabloid newspapers found-out he was coming on the show due to his mobile phone.

With the Hollywood actor having talked about the dilemma of wanting people to be get hold of him, but not wanting everyone to have his personal number, Stephen sympathised and said that it's a bigger problem in New York because everyone is walking around 'sucking up' numbers.

Vinnie suggested that he might change his number when he gets out because too many people already have it, before vowing not to answer his phone for a couple of weeks afterwards because it stresses him out.

"Do you know how they knew I was coming in here?" asked the 45-year-old of his peers, continuing: "I put a voicemail on a couple of days before, saying: 'This phone will not be active until the 1st of February'".

The press got his message and sussed him out, confirming that he was one of the Celebrity Big Brother 7 contestants just before the show started, when it was supposed to be a secret.

"It don't take a scientist," added Vinnie, commenting on the journalist in question's detective skills.
