Mystery Key Will NOT Be Returned

Sisqo collected a couple of hampers from the Diary Room on Sunday night as a reward for the group's efforts in the singing task, one containing condiments such as mustard, chilli powder and piccalilli, the other containing a large wooden key.

However, no-one knew what the mystery key was for, and it looks like the housemates won't get a chance to find-out now. For 3rd Evictee Lady Sovereign grabbed it from the sofa just before exiting the House, and refused to give it back when the others called up the stairs to demand its return.

Sov tossed the key into the crowd just to spite her former peers, and sources say that a fan nabbed the item as a souvenir.

Channel 4 have confirmed to Big Brother Online today that the key (or a replacement) will not be returned to the group. Furthermore, they are keeping schtum about the purpose of the mystery item, so unless Davina reveals what it was all about at the series Finale, we may never know.

The situation is somewhat reminiscent of Big Brother 8, when Big Bro hid a washing machine in the garden but left it to the housemates to find. They never did discover it though, and after weeks of tedious hand-washing Dermot O'Leary informed them of its existence during the BBLB reunion show.
