Jonas Ridiculed For 50/50 Management Deal

Jonas was ridiculed by his peers tonight, who were staggered to find-out that he has a deal with his manager whereby he hands over 50% of his earnings.

Chatting to Alex and Sisqo in the lounge, musician Jonas – who records under the name of 'Basshunter' – admitted the overly-generous agreement, and it sounded like he didn't have a formal contract either.

"To be fair, everything works very well," stated the Swede, but Alex replied: "It just doesn't seem normal". "It's a little unusual," added recording artist Sisqo, the pair sniggering at Jonas for giving so much of his earnings away.

Sisqo said that anywhere between 10 and 20% would be the norm, before suggesting that a manager doesn't really have to do much for his money, especially if the phone is ringing and his client is busy. "But even if the phone's not ringing (and he's working harder), it's still only worth 20%," added the 'Thong Song' singer.

Lying on the sofa picking his nails, Jonas explain that he trusts his manager, who is like his best friend. But when Dane and Nicola were told about the revelation they were amazed, Dane laughing explosively and Nicola showing concern. "No wonder he's your best friend," said the Page 3 Girl.

"It might work out for him though, it might be good" said Alex, but Nicola replied, "How can it be good when you're paying someone 50% of your salary?"

Shortly afterwards, a dejected Jonas slumped-off to bed after saying: "I don't wanna' talk about it".
