It's Another Double Eviction On Friday

Fans have become confused by last night's live eviction/ nominations show, because the tally shown after the nine housemates had all nominated (Sov had just been evicted) indicated that just Ivana and Stephen would be facing eviction next.

After all, Ivana received 5 nominations and Stephen had 4, and traditionally the two-or-more contestants with the most votes go 'up'. So, as the next person on the tally failed to equal Stephen's number of votes – it was Sisqo on 3 – fans were baffled as-to why the 'Thong Song' singer was declared as a nominee.

Well, although it was originally supposed to be a normal eviction this Friday, in-which case it would have been Ivana versus Stephen, Channel 4 changed their minds and decided to make it a Double eviction (sending-out a Press Release to that effect on Monday afternoon). Therefore, at least three people must go up, so that two can leave.

We said last week that there would likely be a second Double eviction before Celebrity Big Brother 7 ends, but we thought it would it probably take place in the final week of the series.

So, to re-iterate, fans are now voting for their least favourite of the three nominees, and the two that have received the most votes when the voting closes on Friday night (19th January 2010) will be evicted.

That will leave seven contestants going into the final week of the game.
