Housemates Wonder If BB Producers Expected Friction

During a conversation about tasks this afternoon, a bored Dane, Nicola, Stephanie and Vinnie wondered if the Big Brother producers had counted on there being more friction within the contestant group.

"I'm not sure whether they thought everyone was gonna' be ripping each other's throats out?" suggested Vinnie, and both Dane and Steph agreed.

"I wonder if they thought you'd be hot-headed in here Vinnie?" pondered Nicola, referring to the fact that in the past, the footballer player-turned-actor has had a track record of being somewhat volatile (and that's putting it mildly).

In response, the 45-year-old stated: "I wonder if they put a UFC fighter in here to wind me up". He was referring to fellow housemate Alex, a Mixed Martial Arts cage fighter with an admittedly mediocre fight record.

"I still might lose my temper," threatened Vin, although he recently suggested to fan-and-admirer Alex that he has mellowed with age.

Talking about his reputation, many fans will know that Vinnie Jones famously grabbed ex-England player Paul 'Gazza' Gascoigne by the 'knackers during a footy match many years ago...

Well, we're hoping that the Hollywood Hardman brings back the move to shut serial Bible-basher Stephen up!
