Alex: "I'm A Role Model For Youngsters"

Cauliflower-eared cage fighter Alex Reid has insisted that he is a role model for young lads.

During a chat with oldest housemate Stephanie, he was told by the sexagenarian actress that his appearance on Celebrity Big Brother would help make his name.

The 34-year-old agreed and hoped it would help him. He has previously suggested that he's looking to get a Hollywood acting career out-of his CBB7 appearance.

When Steph' told him that he's a 'very sweet clown' (echoing Vinnie's recent comment to Dane dubbing Alex a 'lovable prat'), he replied: "Yes, I am a clown, but I'm not always a clown".

After pondering whether it was a good or a bad thing to be considered a clown, Alex said: "Do you understand the influence I have on young people, young boys, young men? They look up to me".

"And with that influence of young men," he continued, "I understand there's a responsibility there. You know, young lads look at what I do and stuff, and they admire that".

To be frank, before CBB7, young girls who read 'heat' magazine would have known who he was, but young lads probably wouldn't have been able to put a name to his face or vice versa, so Alex is a bit deluded about just how famous and respected he is.

After all, he is only well-known for going out with a model, and his fight record of 8 Wins, 8 Losses and 1 Draw doesn't exactly mark him out as a champ, despite the fact that Vinnie calls him 'Rocky!'
