3rd Evictee: Lady Sovereign/ Sov

Tonight, having lasted sixteen days in the game and survived possible eviction once before, Lady Sovereign was sent home by fans at the 3rd eviction of the series.

As Big Brother host Davina McCall addressed the group, the crowd could be heard chanting 'Get Sov out' repeatedly. It seems that this year, the show's producers haven't been as keen as they have previously to try and prevent the housemates hearing such backlash (which is a good thing).

Consequently, Sov resigned herself to leaving and gave an 'Okay, it's me' type gesture with her hands.

When Davina announced her as the next evictee, there were hugs all-round, something the 24-year-old couldn't get over-and-done-with quick enough. As Sov headed towards the door, eviction survivor Nicola wished her Good Luck.

"They're booing me," moaned the concerned rapper as she waited for the double doors to open at the top of the stairs, the sound of the baying crowd making its way into the lobby. But as soon as the doors opened, she began jumping around, grabbing her breasts in a defiant manner and looking surly.

One short interview later, and that was the end of Sov, who received a not inconsiderable 69.5% in the two-way public vote.
