Vinnie's Property Plan Makes Sense

It seems to be de rigueur for celebrities to have at least a couple of houses dotted around, but not all of them feel the need...

Basshunter has said that he has homes in both Sweden and Dubai, Stephanie is always talking about her London pad and has numerous homes around the globe, and it goes without saying that Mrs Moneybags Ivana probably doesn't have enough fingers to count hers on!

However, Vinnie Jones has just the one house, albeit in a posh part of Los Angeles, Mulholland Drive.

The Hollywood actor sold his home in the UK when he moved to the States to work, and said tonight of the occasions his family need to visit the UK: "We just decided, for the little time we're here, we'll just go to a hotel".

The 45-year-old then pointed-out that renting a decent hotel room/ suite saves on the overheads of running a house in England, so he gets to stay in a nice place for a few weeks at a reasonable cost.

Hmm... the way things are going – where it'll soon cost a £million to run your car, heat your home and get your bins emptied for a week – we're thinking about following Vinnie's lead, selling-up and booking into a B&B for the foreseeable future!
