Does Vinnie's Future Lie In Pubs And Politics?

Vinnie Jones has appeared in nearly 50 movies, but as much as we love him, we're reluctant to say that he has acted in nearly 50 movies!

Still, unlike some of the Celebrity Big Brother housemates, at least he still has a career. However, if the work ever dries up in Hollywood, it looks like there may be other avenues open to him.

Indeed, the 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' star has suggested that he might consider standing as an MP at some point in the future, following Schwarzenegger's lead in moving from acting to politics in the USA.

"I'm a conservative, but I talk for the ordinary working classes," said Vinnie as he chatted to his peers, before adding: "The toffs haven't lived in council estates, they've just known mansions".

But if the 45-year-old ex-footballer decides not to move into politics, he could get into the pub game instead. For American rapper 50 Cent said recently that he would like to set-up a chain of authentic British pubs around the world, and reckons that the 'Vinster would be his ideal partner.

And seeing as Vinnie isn't exactly an expert in Shakespearian acting or the Stanislavski method, this just goes to show that it's not what you know, but who you know that counts.

Mind you, it's not guaranteed to be a success, because with a megastar rapper and a notorious hardman involved, the venture could be less a case of 'Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps please', and more like 'Two pistol-whips and a headbutt please!'
