The House Gets A Visitor

Well, that's not strictly true, as it was actually the garden that received the visitor this morning, in the form of a blackbird.

Shilpa, Cleo, Jermaine and Ian were in the kitchen chatting over breakfast when they spotted the little fella out in garden.

"Wooow," said Shilpa, as they all clucked over their feathery new friend.

But, worried that it was pecking for worms on Astroturf and not real grass, a sofly-spoken Jermaine suggested, "Let's give it some bread," as Cleo carefully opened the patio doors to throw it some scraps.

Ian then suggested that they should give it a name, and Shilpa rather unimaginatively put forward the suggestion of 'Blackbird', before asking if the bird's arrival was a sign of anything.

"Death?" said Ian, bringing the mood down somewhat.

Well, we've seen barnies, bitching and even (sadly) bullying in the House before, but someone popping their clogs in the name of entertainment might be going a bit too far!
