All Voting Profits Go To Charity

We speculated in a recent article that Channel 4 were attempting to shy away from the fact that they'll make money from tonight's eviction. Today, they've issued a statement saying that all profits will go to charity.

A small percentage of the voting revenue is usually donated anyway, but for tonight's vote only, everything will go to the various charities chosen by the celebrity housemates.

So, Channel 4 will make nothing from the substantial number of votes that they're bound to receive in the Jade vs. Shilpa showdown.

The donation will be split equally between the housemates' as-yet unspecified charities.
