Other Info:

Former Butlins redcoat Ian is famous for being floppy-haired
'H from Steps', one of the five members of the cheesy pop group
that sold around 15 Million albums over a four-year period. 'H'
apparently stands for hyperactive.
After huge success, Steps split in 2001 and Ian briefly formed
a pop duo with ex-Steps member Claire. The Welshman went on to study
musical theatre at the Royal Academy of Music and has appeared in
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Jesus Christ Superstar
in the West End. He has also appeared as 'Buttons' in panto.
Just prior to entering the Big Brother House, the former Steps
singer revealed his sexuality in a tabloid newspaper and dubbed
himself 'the only gay in the village', having grown-up in a small
Welsh village. Ian also admitted that it's only now he's truly comfortable
with his sexuality that he feels able to be honest with his fans.
His friends and family have known for years.
Ian is happier away from usual celebrity circuit and says, "The
Met Bar is cack, they're all w***ers. I like normal people and have
normal friends. I like real people, and the real world is a much
nicer place." Ian loves collecting art, which is his greatest
extravagance. The most expensive item of clothing he ever bought
was an YSL jacket for £5,000.
