Apply To Be In The Real 'Kandy Floss!'

'Big Brother's Big Breakfast' is looking for band members for Chantelle's previously-fictional girl group Kandy Floss.

The show, an early morning derivative of Dermot O'Leary's usual evening show 'Big Brother's Little Brother', is putting together the group and needs another four female members to join Chantelle.

There's been lot's of talk in the house about how well the dizzy model could do with the song 'I Want It Right Now', but we suspect that Channel 4's hopes for the band are slightly less ambitious.

It's a tongue-in-cheek bit of fun to be honest, and if successful, you'll probably get to sing just once with Chantelle when she gets out.

Reality Alert: You are not going to be the next Spice Girls, so if you're serious about a pop career, you probably shouldn't apply. It's just a laugh really.

That said, Fame Academy headteacher and record company boss Richard Park has pointed-out that the charts take into account downloads these days.

In theory, if enough copies of the catchy but badly-sung ditty were downloaded from the net, it could actually make it into the charts.

Arrgh! The world's gone mad!

Just like founding member Chantelle, if you can't sing very well and have a hopeless sense of rhythm, you have a very good chance of getting into Kandy Floss.
