Current Game Status/ Position: Pete Burns came 5th (out of 11), lasting twenty-three days in the game. He was one of six housemates who remained in the house until the final day of the series. Pete was evicted at the 7th Eviction on Finale night, Friday the 27th of January 2006 (Day 23), when up against Chantelle Houghton, Maggot, Michael Barrymore and Preston – Traci Bingham had just been evicted. The public were voting for a winner at the time and he received around 9% in the public vote. NB. Channel 4 released Pete's percentage as 13.6%, but BBO has weighted this figure for all the Finale contestants. This is because C4's figures add up to a total of around 160% and are therefore arguably innacurate. Previously, Pete survived possible possible eviction at 2nd Eviction on Wednesday the 18th of January 2006 (Day 14), when up against Dennis Rodman and Faria Alam. Before that, he'd survived possible eviction at the 1st Eviction on Friday the 13th of January 2006 (Day 9), when up against George Galloway and Jodie Marsh.
