Recently, fans have been speculating about the 'big twist' that Channel 5 alluded-to a while ago in relation to the forthcoming (non-Celebrity) series of Big Brother UK.

There have been plenty of ridiculous suggestions, including one that the new housemates might be offered incentives to have sex and get each other pregnant. Thankfully, the planned twist is nothing like that, despite the fact that it was billed as being shocking and controversial.

We won't go into too much detail here, partly because it could jeopardise the position of our Ende-mole, and partly because the twist is nothing special to be frank. Suffice to say that it relates to the fact that a world-famous Celebrity will join the housemates for the start of the next series.

This celebrity guest will live in the Big Brother House and affect the lives of the ordinary plebs, but she, um... we mean, he or she (ahem), won't stay for long. He/ she will make an appearance at the very end of the live Celebrity Big Brother 2011 Finale show, and be cheekily told to come back on Friday.

Here at BBO we know who it is already, but if you want to find-out in advance of Friday's (9th September) series Launch, we imagine that the Daily Star – owned by the guy who bought Channel 5 last year – will spill the beans shortly.
