After Pamela got sent home at a surprise eviction on Wednesday
night, she was given
the opportunity to award immunity at the next
eviction to four of her former peers. There were no nominations,
just Pam's rushed decision.
As a result, Bobby Sabel, Darryn Lyons, Lucien Laviscount
and Tara Reid are all facing the chop at tonight's 3rd Eviction.
Fans have been voting for their favourite contender for a
couple of days now, and whoever has received the least number
of votes when the phone lines close tonight, is history.
Let's first take a look at who's likely to be safe, and Lucien
definitely tops that list. The former 'Corrie' actor is young
and cute (if a bit wet), so he's bound to get plenty of support
in the positive public vote.
We'd also go as far as to suggest that Darryn will probably
be safe, mainly because he's a big character as far as the
show goes. Although some people see him as a bully, plenty
of fans think he's actually quite vulnerable. Seeing as the
Aussie photo seller has already beaten someone at an eviction
(Pamela), he should be okay tonight.
Bobby has sort-of caused waves within the group after speaking
his mind, but he's seen as something of a nasty character
by some fans. He can also come across as spineless. Ultimately,
the largely-unknown model isn't a particularly likeable guy,
despite his good looks, and that puts him at-risk in a positive
public vote.
Like recent evictee Pam, final contender Tara is someone
the show's fans don't really care about. This can be a big
problem when the public are voting to save someone,
because viewers may not bother picking-up the phone to vote
for them. Tara is definitely at-risk on that front.
When it was 'vote to evict' each week – during previous
series of Big Brother UK – 'baddie' characters like
Darryn inevitably went early-on i.e. contestants that a reasonably
high percentage of viewers disliked.
However, the change to positive voting for Celebrity Big
Brother 2011 is arguably a good thing because it helps weed-out
the dullards and nonentities first. Unfortunately, it also
allows complete prats like the Jedward twins to reach the
series Finale, but hey ho!

Anyway, it looks like it could be between Bobby and Tara
tonight. The Polls and bookies both indicate that the former
will likely get the boot, but the voting is almost certainly
close, so it could go either way.
Our gut tells us that unintelligible and spaced-out Yank
Tara will go. After all, what has she done to garner support?
