Just nine days in, and the first eviction of Celebrity Big
Brother 2011 takes place tonight, Friday the 26th of August.
While fans would normally be voting for who they want to
kick-out at this stage of the game, this time around the show's
producers have introduced 'positive' voting. So, you are being
asked to vote for the nominee you like most, and your vote/s
will help that person extend their stay in the Big Brother
House.
Traditionally during a series, controversial characters get
kicked-out early due to the negative public vote each week.
This way, however, things should be less predictable because
it'll help weed-out any housemates that sit on the fence,
do absolutely nothing or deliberately fly under the radar
in a bid to get to the Finale.
The thing is, while the change might have been great if the
majority of the nominees this week had been dullards, it transpires
that all three of them are characters.
Kerry is Kerry – loud and brash – although admittedly
she hasn't come across anywhere near as bad as we thought
she might.
Then we have 'Mrs Outspoken' Sally Bercow, who revels in
the fact that her very appearance on Celebrity Big Brother
winds-up The Establishment (but so far hasn't really got anyone's
back up).
And lastly we have Bobby the model, who came across as a
wet blanket at the start of the series, but has since begun
speaking his mind and even playing what we shall loosely refer-to
as pranks.
We say that because the controversial 'Sweatgate' incident,
where he contrived to make an unknowing Darryn drink his sweat
and spittle, was totally vindictive. Okay, so Bobby subsequently
'fessed-up and apologised for his behaviour, but he didn't
mean it sincerely.
Many fans will likely have taken against 'Rob the Knob' for
that, but due to the positive vote, all the (Bobby) haters
can't influence things as much as they'd like, especially
if he has actually gained a few supporters because
he's stirring things up.
Everyone knows that 'baddies' and big characters make a series
worth watching, but will fans be prepared to pick up the phone
and shell-out hard-earned money to keep such people in the
game? Hmm... we're not sure.

The upshot of it all is that we no idea what's going to happen
at the 1st Eviction tonight!
Polls suggest that Bobby might go, but at the time of writing
the bookies think it'll be Sally. On that note, if you fancy
