Morning Campers...

Having-been moaning about Big Brother's abrupt wake-up calls, Les was eased into the day in a much more subtle way this morning, courtesy of Mark.

The ex-pop star remembered a story Les told recently, about how when he worked at Butlins, the staff were woken by the sound of running water and chimes.

So, this morning 'night bird' Mark got up especially early to surprise the entertainer, before Big Bro had a chance to open it's gob!

Grabbing a washing-up bowl and filling some wine bottles with water, Mark headed for the bedroom and sat cross-legged on the floor.

He then gently poured the water into the bowl, whilst quietly chanting, "Listen to the sound of the water" in a 'Mystic Meg' stylie.

However, a bemused Les, not exactly looking his best, lifted his head and said, "What's going on?"

Mark then laughed and reminded his roommate of the story, explaining his actions and demonstrating that the bottles represented the chimes.

Les was quick to catch-on and seemed pleased with Mark's efforts: "It makes a change from 'This is Big Brother. Get out of your beds you lazy b******s!'"
