Mark Gets All Deep And Meaningful

With just Les and Mark still up approaching 3am, the conversation turned serious when Mark got all deep and meaningful.

Les asked the singer how long it took him to agree to appear on Celebrity Big Brother 2; the answer was about a week.

The pint-sized pop star revealed that he'd been evaluating his life recently and had been looking for answers. He elaborated on this by saying that coming on the show could go one of two ways and could affect whether he continues to write music.

He then stated that he hoped some good comes from the experience for all the housemates involved.

As the serious conversation continued, Mark told Les, "It's about finding yourself."

However, for Les the BB experience was all about showing a different side of himself to the public. In light of his now-sorted marriage troubles, he wanted to show everyone that, "I'm not this hard-done-by bloke."

The subject kind-of returned to how they are treated as celebrities and Mark recalled how someone approached him in a pizza shop recently and told him to, "Get over it", and that he'd, "Had his time."

Les was in disbelief; half at the fact that someone would say such a pointless thing and half because they were writing the ex-boy band member off so young.

Mark did mitigate the incident by telling how the person in question was drunk and then ended the conversation by saying, "On the whole, people (the public) are really nice."

And with that, they decided to hit the sack.
