Letters From Loved Ones

Some of the group received letters from their family this evening after Big Brother set a mail-sorting task earlier in the day.

The three Housemates from Hell had to sort-and-open over 1000 letters, but some of the envelopes contained rather personal messages. However, as far as the trio knew, the messages they encountered were for the Heavenly lot only, and not for them.

As the trio carried-out the job in hand, newbie housemate Nicole read-out the messages once they'd found them. 4th Evictee Mario's letter revealed that he was missing girlfriend Lisa, and re-iterated that their relationship had been strengthened.

Mario also hoped that Lisa would make it into Heaven... that's the nice side of the House, not the place above the clouds with the gates! He needn't have worried though, as Lisa finally made it there yesterday.

Sara was in tears having heard the heart-felt comments, and Rex's letter came next, with his Dad dubbing the chef an 'impressive young man', mentioning his two dogs and saying that he misses him.

Stu's daughter was missing her Dad 'to the moon and stars and back', which saw the beefy fitness fan in floods of tears, meanwhile Darnell's buddy advised the songwriter to remain positive.

But Head of House Rachel had a difficult choice to make, as she was called to the Diary Room and given the opportunity to either accept a message from her Mum, or allow Hellish Housemates Kat, Mikey and Nicole to receive a message from their respective families.

If she'd chosen her own letter, the rest of the group would have been none-the-wiser, but a selfless Rach chose to exit the Diary Room with messages for the others. "There's no way I could stay in here and read that (her own letter), when there's three other people who want their letters. I would never be that selfish," said the tearful teach'.

The HoH duly read-out letters for all three, but the one from Kat's fiancé had the therapist in absolute tears, as it revealed just how proud her family were and re-iterated how much her man had been missing Kat's company and cooking.
