Darnell Buoyed-up By Public Acceptance

The pressure of being 'up' last week took its toll on Darnell, and he became really snappy towards the end of the week. However, having survived at last night's 6th Eviction, it seems that the 26-year-old has a new sense of self-belief and bravado.

For the relieved songwriter told Kat last night, "I might have some fans, who would have thought?" before vowing to have fun this coming week.

And chatting to Rachel this morning, he said of the fact that the public had effectively chosen to keep him in the House, "I've always needed reassurance; am I as good as people say? The singing... every aspect". Rachel replied, "You got that last night".

Frankly, Darnell might be getting a bit carried away there, as it was a 'vote to evict' process which just means that Rebecca was more hated than him, not that he was more liked than her.

Life isn't all rosy for the albino housemate though, as he dubbed Dale and Stuart 'pr*cks' last night and suggested that he was finished talking to them.

So, given that he had a pop at Mo over cadging ciggies on Thursday, and nominated Rex at the fifth round of nominations, we wonder how many friends he has left inside the House?
