Darnell Talks About His Studio Work

Darnell chatted to Mikey about his work at Jutland Music Studios this afternoon.

The community youth mentor described himself as a kind-of 'runner', and told how his work involves making sure that top clients know about the studio, keeping it clean and giving guided tours.

Radio producer Mikey listened intently as the 26-year-old, who was deported from the USA 18 months ago, described the studio and said that he makes sure clients have everything they could need or want. He also claimed that he has a role as an in-house songwriter.

Even though his 'Cookie Love' song is just a bit of fun, from what we've seen and heard so far, Darnell is a talented guy and could probably have a career as a songwriter for the big RnB stars.

In a way, it's a shame Darnell was cajoled into going on the show (he didn't actually apply, he went along to the BB studios with a friend and was spotted), because he'll inevitably be known as 'that BB guy' from now on, which could preclude a long-term career.

Then again, the exposure of being on Big Brother 9 will definitely ensure that the-powers-that-be in the music industry know about the albino music man.
