Meet 'Pee-wee', Rebecca's Rather Unusual Pet

Rebecca mentioned a pet called pee-wee at around midnight tonight, but was it a cute little doggy? Or a fluffy bunny rabbit perhaps? Nah, it was a stick!

Yep, you read that right: a stick. A piece of wood. An inanimate object.

"I used to have pet stick," said the nursery nurse when someone happened to mention the word stick.

"A stick insect?" queried Maysoon, referring to the mini branch-like insects that are sometimes kept by primary schools.

But Rebecca replied, straight-faced, "No, a stick".

Maysoon couldn't believe her ears and neither could Stuart, who exclaimed, "An actual stick? A twig? A branch... was your pet?" before ribbing Bex that her Mum gave her a twig as a pet.

Bex then explained that she and her friend used to pick him up (him, LOL), draw faces on him and carry him around.

We know that the 21-year-old kindergarten nurse isn't exactly the sharpest tack in the box, but that particular story is ridiculous...

Not even Alien-acquainted Lisa could have come up with that one!
