Darnell No Longer Head Of House

On his seventh day as the group's leader, Darnell was stripped of his 'Head of House' status this morning.

Having called the songwriter to the Diary Room, Big Brother imparted the news that his term in power was now over, and informed the 26-year-old that he won't have anything to do with choosing his successor.

And contrary to all the rumours from within the group, the victor at last night's 5th Eviction (Rex) won't automatically become the new Head of House either.

A grumpy Darnell subsequently told buddy Rex that he wasn't allowed to stand as HoH again, and moaned, "It sucks dude. It's ridiculous". However, Dale was diplomatic about the situation, noting that whoever it is, the Head of House could be a target for hatred from their peers.

Indeed, we shall see if that's true at the sixth round of nominations on Monday afternoon, when the current Housemates from Hell – having had a whole week of misery – could take it out on the man who inflicted it upon them: Darnell.
