Mario 'Bigs Himself Up' To Belinda

Talking to new housemate Belinda in the luxury bedroom today, facilitator extraordinaire Mario resumed his David Brent-like waffle about management.

Sounding just like the tacky and deluded 'The Office' character, the BB beefcake mentioned the 'University of Life', and told how he got into management and ended-up as a mentor, before claiming that he was earning £13,000 when he was just 17, back in the early 1950's (or something!)

Actually, we reckon that equates to well over £40k per annum today, so either Mario has made a lot of money over the years or he's a bit of a – to use one his own phrases – Billy Bullshiner.

During the conversation, the 43-year-old claimed that he took early retirement four years ago, but there's a world of difference between retiring early because you've amassed a stack of money, and taking early redundancy because your employer doesn't want you any more.

Frankly, our money's on the latter.
