3rd Evictee: It's Jennifer Clark
When Davina addressed the House with the usual 'do not swear'
disclaimer, the Housemates pretended to be asleep but were
soon wide awake to hear Jen's name called as the 3rd Evictee.
Just before Davina imparted the news, Jen was sat huddled
up next to Dale, and Rex was sat in a chair on his own. When
told by Davina that she would be leaving, Jen gave a knowing
smile as her peers sat in stunned silence for the second week
in a row.
Rex made-out that he was disappointed to be staying, and
threw a towel to the floor in fake-despair.
Luke was the first person to get-up and comfort the 22-year-old
evictee. "It's alright," said Jen as she hugged
Bex next, then Dale told her that he'd miss her before Mario
advised the soon-to-be-leaving Geordie to 'keep smiling'.
When it came time to leave, there was a round of applause
and a number of hugs from her peers, before the mum-of-one
disappeared up the stairs to meet the waiting crowd.
However, Jennifer had an apprehensive look of her face as
she waited for the doors to open, and as well she might, given
the chorus of boos that greeted her. Jen's face visibly dropped
as she made her way down the steps to meet Davina.
A quick pose for the waiting Press, and just one interview
stood between Jennie and the end of her Big Brother 9 experience.
So, she lasted 30 days in the game, but it wasn't so much
a case of Jennie from the block this week, as Jennie on
the block; we knew from the moment the nominees were announced
that she would go.
She received a whopping 89% in the public vote (the exact
same figure our Poll ended-up on), and was the third consecutive
female to be evicted.
Jennifer is survived by fifteen housemates; that's Rex and
seven other lads, plus seven girls (three of whom arrived
literally just after Jen's eviction).
