Police Say: "No Action Over Spit Spat"
After Dennis's expulsion on Friday afternoon following a
spitting incident the night before, Police expressed an interest
in talking to the shamed dancer.
Spitting at someone is, in the eyes of the law, classed as
common assault, so the local fuzz had a chat with Den when
he left the Big Brother House. The Scot was not arrested and
did not need to attend a Police station.
A Hertfordshire police spokeswoman subsequently said: "Officers
have now spoken with a 23-year-old man from Edinburgh in connection
with an alleged incident. He was spoken-to under caution,
and at this stage no further action has been taken".
"Officers will speak with the potential complainant
as-and-when he leaves the House at some point in the future."
So, as long as Mohamed doesn't want to take it any further
(unlikely), that will be an end to the matter as far as the
law goes.
