2nd Evictee: It's Sylvia Barrie
Alexandra was set to be the second evictee of the series
last Friday night, until she was removed from the game the
day before. Tonight, Sylvia Barrie has become the
2nd Evictee of Big Brother 9, gaining a whopping 90% in the
public vote.
When told by Davina that she would be leaving the House,
the 21-year-old smiled nervously as the group sat in stunned
silence.
A victorious Mohamed was the first to give her a hug, while
everyone else queued to take their turn. However, the sales
assistant began to cry as she hugged Dale, who said that he
would miss her. "I'll miss you too," replied the
sassy student, with Jen and Kat both in tears too.
"(Keep your) chin up," encouraged Stu. "You're
a strong woman," remarked Luke.
"Guys, it's been amazing being in here and also meeting
you guys; it's been a pleasure and I'm gonna' miss every single
person in here," said the evictee, before urging her
peers to enjoy the rest of their time in the game.
When it came time to leave, Sylvia received a round of applause
and a load more hugs, before making her way up the stairs
to meet the baying crowd.
And she was met with an absolute throng of boos, dancing
along to the rhythm of the 'Get Sylvia out' chants after having
her photo taken by the waiting press.
A brisk journey along the walk of shame, and just one interview
with Davina stood between Sylvia and the end of her Big Brother
9 experience.
Sylvia is survived by fellow nominee Mohamed and twelve other
housemates.
