The Housemates' Reaction To Alex's Expulsion

Shortly after 9pm tonight, Luke read-out a laminate from Big Brother which began:

'Big Brother would like to inform you that Alexandra has been removed from the House,' before going-on to explain that her intimidating behaviour was the reason for her expulsion.

In response, there was a short gasp followed by a round of applause, which wasn't (only) because the stunned group were glad to see the back of the oft-argumentative accounts worker, rather that they realised Friday's eviction had been cancelled.

Sylvia remarked, "I don't believe it," and Rex said, "They must have a very good reason to do that" (yeah, 'cos you complained Rex mate!)

Earlier in the evening, Alex had been called to the Diary Room by the strict, Scottish Big Bro. "Loving your strict voice," said the soon-to-be evicted 23-year-old, but she would soon be thinking otherwise.

In light of her sudden departure, Big Bro asked Alexandra's peers to collect up her belongings, something Dale, Darnell, Dennis, Rebecca and Sylvia volunteered to do (Darnell being the only one not to nominate her this week).

And as they packed-up her stuff, Sylvia noted that Alex had been warned about her behaviour before.

Indeed.
