Monday Nominations Decide New Head Of House
The choosing of a new Head of House is normally done-and-dusted
by the weekend, but Rex remained HoH until this morning, when
Big Brother asked the sleepy chef to relinquish his rosette.
But when Rex eventually returned to the group, he refused
to say what had been discussed with the all-seeing entity,
as Rachel and Lisa speculated that the 24-year-old control
freak would be solely responsible for choosing this week's
nominees.
Going along with the suggestion, Rex later claimed that he'd
put four people up for eviction, but Kat jokingly called him
liar. Indeed, he was just winding them up.
Monday is usually nomination day and today is no exception,
except that the eight housemates are nominating to choose
a new Head of House, not to put someone up for eviction.
And whoever they choose as the HoH will, of course, be immune
from nomination this week when the proper nominations take
place, and is guaranteed to make it to the final week of the
series. Oh, and everyone is eligible to become the
new HoH this time around, even past leaders.
As the HoH nomination process got going today, Big Brother
swore each housemate to secrecy regarding the real reason
for nominating, as they went into the Diary Room one-by-one.
Fans will get to see who follows in the footsteps of Darnell,
Dale, Stuart, Rachel, Mikey and Rex live on tonight's 'Big
Brother's Little Brother' show on e4 at 6pm (Monday the 25th
of August 2008).
