Tenth Nominations In Detail

The tenth round of nominations took place yesterday and there were nine participants, the number of housemates still remaining in the game. Head of House Rex could not be nominated due to his status as leader, and here's who nominated who at the tenth round:

Darnell - Nicole & Sara
Darnell's first nomination went to Nicole, because she didn't go through the same procedure as all the others to get in i.e. months of auditions. "She's here because she wants to get close to her boyfriend, and now that's created a whole bunch of other problems," added the songwriter, before bemoaning the fact that Rex is selfish because he wants his girlfriend there at the end. Sara was his second nominee, mainly because she was a latecomer has been 'winging it', agreeing with everyone just to make friends.

Kathreya - Sara & Lisa
Kat's reasons were not made public.

Lisa - Rachel & Nicole
Lisa nominated Rachel first because she stirs things up by disagreeing and being awkward with her (Uh? Rachel never gives opinions). "Some people can shoot her down and that's fine, and I think that's really, really false," added Lisa, alluding to the fact that Rachel never hits back at Rex and Darnell when they criticise her. Her second nominee was Nicole, because she has been threatening to leave almost since the day she arrived. Lisa did sympathise, but declared that it would be a better atmosphere without Nicole's negativity.

Mikey - Nicole & Sara
"At the deep root of Nicole's personality, I think she's quite selfish... a spoilt brat," said Mikey about his first nominee, before going-on to say that she is just interested in the glamour of it all. He then had a rant about how Rex is prepared to sacrifice Nicole for his own benefit. Next, Mikey said that he really likes his second nominee Sara, but wanted rid of the latecomer partly due to her short length of service, but also because she thinks the sun shines out-of Rex's ar*e. "I'm suspicious of somebody who likes Rex... I'm sure Sara and Rex would be a good couple," added the radio man.

Mohamed - Sara & Lisa
Mo nominated Sara first because she had changed her attitude towards him (read: she had snubbed his amorous attentions). "She changes (her attitude) from time to time," concluded the toy demonstrator, after a little rant about his would-be 'bird.

Nicole - Rachel & Mohamed
"I feel like I don't really know her because she's with Kat the whole the time," said Nicole about first nominee Rachel, before adding, "She follows Kat all the time and sings... she obviously wants to be in the final, and to be with Kat is an easy ride". Nicole went-on to dub Rachel 'nice', but said there's nothing else to her, noting that the trainee teacher never gives her opinion and appears to like everyone. Her second nomination went to Mohamed because he is genuinely greedy and farts all the time, which she finds irritating and revolting. "He's a nice guy, but I wouldn't really notice the difference if he wasn't here," she concluded.

Rachel - Lisa & Nicole
About first nominee Lisa, Rachel spat, "I don't like living with her. At all. I feel very awkward around her, I don't trust her, she's very two-faced". Rachel then suggested that Lisa says things to make her worry about the outside world, and stated that she's kind-of scared of her older peer. Rachel also reckoned that Lisa has started sucking-up to certain people lately, but didn't name them.

Rex - Lisa & Sara
Rex's second nominee was Sara because she 'jumps ship', going from being friends with him when she arrived, to being buddies with Maysoon, using Darnell just to wind Stuart up, moving on to Stuart, and most recently getting closer to Mohamed.

Sara - Mohamed & Rachel
Sara's reasons were not made public.

So, Rachel was only one nomination short of going 'up', and the tally after the tenth round of nominations was: Sara: 5, Lisa and Nicole: 4 each, Rachel: 3, Mohamed: 2. Darnell, Kathreya and Mikey (plus HoH Rex, obviously) received no nominations this week.

As a result, Lisa, Nicole and Sara will face eviction this Friday at the 10th Eviction of Big Brother 9.
