Who Goes Tonight? YOU Decide!
Just to recap, here's who's left the Big Brother House so
far this series: Steph was the 1st Evictee and then Alexandra
and Dennis got sent home. The rest of the evictees, the second
to the eighth last Friday, were (in order), Sylvia, Jennifer,
Mario, Belinda, Rebecca, Luke and Dale.
Tonight, Stuart is facing eviction for the second week in
a row, but it's Rachel's first time in the firing line. However,
we don't think the nice-but-dull trainee teacher has anything
to worry about.
We gave reasons why Rachel will probably stay and Stuart
will likely go here,
and nothing has changed since we wrote that article on Tuesday
afternoon. If anything, it has become even more clear that
Stu is set to get his wish and be reunited with his five-year-old
daughter tonight.
In our current Home page Poll, asking which one of the nominees
you want to get rid-of, Stuart has 63%. However, there's a
chance that he may get even more in the public vote,
not due to his unpopularity, but down to disinterest in Rachel.
That said, he could well get less. After all, last
week Dale was the least popular of the two nominees (Dale
versus Stuart), but because neither were exactly what you
might call hate figures, many fans who voted for Dale on our
Poll didn't bother voting in the public vote, so he received
10% less in the actual vote.
This week, Stuart is in the same position Dale was last week
– the least popular of two nominees that aren't widely
disliked by fans – so, as a consequence, Stu could get
less of a percentage than the Poll indicates.
Of course, the general lack of interest in Rachel could even
things out, with the Welsh nominee failing to garner votes
from her detractors too. Whatever happens though, taking into
account the fact that fans know Stuart wants to go home, Rachel
is safe this week and that's a certainty.
Indeed, we're surprised that bookies continued to take bets
on this one after Tuesday night, although in such a 'low turnout'
voting week, anything can happen.
Who goes tonight? YOU decide!
You have until around 9.30pm tonight, Friday the 15th of
August 2008, to register your vote/s.
Don't forget to tune-in to the two Channel 4 shows at 9pm
and 10.35pm tonight to see who gets the chop. In the meantime,
why not check-out who we've backed to win the series here.
We still have a chance of winning some cash, having placed
bets on both Kat and Darnell quite early-on.
