Group Passes Olympics Task
The housemates have passed the latest 'Big Brother Olympics'
shopping budget task.
After dubbing it a tricky decision, Mikey correctly guessed
that Rachel would do best in the 'circular egg-and-spoon race'
against Rex. However, in the end it was no contest, as Rachel
went round-and-around the mini track for absolutely ages,
forcing a bored Big Brother to end the event and declare her
the winner!
Mikey also guessed correctly that Sara would win the 'short
jump' event, where she competed against Darnell to cover the
shortest distance in one jump.
Again, the fifth Head of House correctly predicted that Rex
would beat Kathreya in the catchily-titled 'floating-in-water-with-a-small-tropical-island-attached-to-your-groin'
event. That said, Kathreya was disqualified for attempting
to stay afloat using the ropes in the pool.
However, the blind leader didn't fair so well in guessing
the outcome of the 'feather throwing' event, where Mo amazed
everyone by chucking his feather almost off the scale, thrashing
Lisa in the process.
The 33-year-old also failed to predict who would win the
'slow race' between Lisa, Rachel and Stuart, wrongly believing
that Lisa would do it. Lisa was first to finish and Rachel
waddled over the line next, but it didn't matter that slow-coach
Stu had won, because Mikey only had to get three predictions
correct and so the group had passed the task.
Upon hearing the news, the housemates cheered then ran over
to give Mikey a congratulatory hug, as Nicole awarded him
a spare choccy medal embossed with the Big Brother eye logo.
For their efforts, the group will receive a luxury shopping
budget for the coming week of £5 per person, per day.
