The Big Mouths' Verdict On All The New Housemates

On tonight's first 'Big Brother's Big Mouth' show – hosted by little-known teenage comedian Jack Whitehall – the crowd and celebrity guests were asked for their opinion on all the new housemates: good or evil?

Mario & Lisa - Benidorm/ League of Gentlemen star Steve Pemberton dubbed Mario a loveable idiot, while HEAT's Lucie Cave was bemused that his real name is Shaun and he's never been to Italy. An audience member said that Lisa 'Looks like a tranny', but it was a thumbs-up for the first Twist. The voting was reasonably even either way, but it just tipped into evil. Verdict: EVIL.

Luke - The audience and the celebs all liked the harmless geek. Enough said! Verdict: GOOD.

Stephanie - With someone dubbing her hair a bit too 'WAG', Steph received some boos and mixed opinions from the audience. Men seemed to vote Good, and women Evil. Verdict: SPLIT.

Rachel - The audience didn't have much to say, although Steve said, "She's an actress and I think she was acting from the beginning". Verdict: INDIFFERENT.

Dale - Dale got a good few boos and the consensus seemed to be that he's a big head. "He's a complete tit," remarked Lucy. Verdict: SPLIT (but the host called it as Evil because he doesn't like Dale).

Sylvia - She got more boos than Dale, and the audience weren't interested in her at all really. Verdict: EVIL.

Dennis - It was unclear what everyone thought, with blokes generally voting Evil and women voting Good. Verdict: SPLIT.

Michael - Mike got a cheer and the consensus was that he's a nice guy. 'A blinding bloke' quipped one member of the audience, but another dubbed the newbie a bad dresser. Michael received an almost unanimously Good vote. Verdict: GOOD.

Alexandra - Steve said of the accounts bod: "Queen bitch. You could tell by the air kissing... miles away from anyone (when she first met them)". Verdict: EVIL.

Rex - Rex didn't get a great reception and the vote tipped into evil. Verdict: EVIL (although the host called it as Good, probably to backpeddle 'cos the crowd mocked Rex's ginger hair).

Mohamed - Steve liked his entrance and his genuine excitement, while Lucie liked his 'fro' but thought Mo had the potential to be annoying. Almost unanimously a Good vote. Verdict: GOOD.

Rebecca - The audience thought she talked too much and Bex received plenty of Evil votes, but it just erred on the Good side in the end. Verdict: GOOD.

Darnell - One female audience member thought that Darnell might ultimately be a bit boring, but one bloke reckoned his entrance walk was genius. Received a mostly Good vote. Verdict: GOOD.

Jennifer - She didn't really get much of a reaction; the celebs both voted Evil, but audience mostly Good. Verdict: GOOD.

Kathreya - The audience got really excited about Kat, with a gay guy dubbing her the Winner and a fashion expert saying she was 'rocking it'. Almost a unanimously Good vote. Verdict: GOOD.

So, the most popular housemates with the BBBM crowd were Micheal, Mohamed, Kathreya and Luke, the borderline housemates were Dennis, Dale, Rachel and Stephanie, and the ones they disliked were Mario/ Lisa, Sylvia and Alexandra.

It'll be interesting to see if that turns-out to be any gauge of how long the BB9 bunch will last in the game.
