Pictures Of The Revamped Big Brother House
As always, Elstree's most famous house has received a makeover
for the new series and you can find some sneak-preview pics
below. But first let's talk about the changes...
For BB9, the interior space is noticeably larger than it
has been in recent years, having apparently swallowed-up some
of the old 'house next door'. According to inside sources,
this is because a whopping sixteen people are set to go in
on Launch night, although that hasn't actually been confirmed
yet.
So, things should be less cramped for the housemates this
season, however the bedroom – which features uncomfortable
army barracks style beds – appears to accommodate just
eight people, so it's a bit of a mystery where everyone
will kip. Could there be a secret room again? Only time will
tell.
The Roman-style bathroom has been totally 'blinged-up' this
time around, with marble facings, a three-person bath and
even a golden Statue of David. Whatsmore, the wall between
the bathroom and the main living area is completely see-through,
so it won't be just David's crown jewels on display!
Out in the garden the BB9 housemates will find a new arch-shaped
swimming pool, along with a giant white ashtray, the latter
presumably being the only place that the housemates will be
permitted to sit and smoke.
Intriguingly, a special pod has apparently been installed
in the garden, perhaps somewhere for the housemates to 'get
it on' should they feel the urge? This is reminiscent of The
Den from Big Brother 2, where Helen 'I like blinking' Adams
and Paul 'International pop star' Clarke canoodled and talked
about 'stuff' a lot (i.e. sex!)
So, that's all we can tell you for now, but you don't have
to wait long to see the House in all its splendour when Big
Brother 9 gets going next week. In the meantime though, why
not check-out the photos we've provided below to whet your
appetite. Just click any of the six images to view larger,
higher-quality versions.
