More Big Brother 9 News

As always, there have been a million rumours about the forthcoming series (that's Big Brother 9 in case you haven't been paying attention!), but we'd just like to give you a few facts to keep you going.

Despite rumours that she was quitting BB to become a thespian, longstanding host Davina McCall will definitely be back this year to front the Launch, Finale and eviction shows.

And about the possibility of her becoming an actress, either Davina has had ideas above her station after appearing in those annoying TV adverts, or more likely the tabloids have made a story out of the fact that she recently moved to a new agent; a company that normally has actors on its books.

Still, Davina has tried various things over the years which frankly haven't worked, so it wouldn't surprise us if she had a pop at treading the boards, as disastrous as that would probably be! Big Brother can't go on forever, after all.

There's no Dermot O'Leary this time around because he's now concentrating on The X Factor, but his old BBLB fanzine show continues. However, it's more a case of 'Big Brother's Little Brother & Sister' now (BBLBAS?), for it will be hosted this year by two presenters, George Lamb and Zezi Ifore.

No, we don't know much about them either, but we'll certainly be tuning-in to see how well they fill Dermot's shoes.

'Big Brother's Big Mouth' is also back for 2008, and will once again feature a guest presenter/s each week. Let's just hope it's not Horne and Cordon again though (as it was during January's 'BB: Celebrity Hijack'), because as a presenter we only find the the big fella funny in small doses despite his comedy awards.
