Jonathan Claims He's The New Lesley

Confirmed egotist Jonathan claimed today that he is effectively the replacement for Big Brother 8 quitter Lesley Brain.

Chatting to Tracey this afternoon, the 49-year-old media man said of the 60-year-old former recruitment boss, "Her (leaving) is the reason I'm here".

He then told Trace' that he didn't find-out that he would be going into the House until very late, pretty-much admitting that, unlike the other newbies who were perhaps in hiding for weeks, he'd seen the start of the show and knew all about Les.

That said, he didn't actually admit to that, and he didn't say precisely how long ago he got the nod to come on the show.

With his comments it wasn't clear if Jon was putting himself in the same intelligence bracket as the first person to leave, but he did state that he was in the same 'quadrant' as her, referring to his age and business background.

Let's just hope he doesn't have the same mindset and think himself above everyone else in there.
