Your Best Bet For The Finale?

We've made around £600 so far this year by betting on the weekly evictions, but we thought we'd give you a betting Tip-or-two for the Finale Week.

On Tuesday (two days ago) we wrote in our Betting Zone section that the 'Betting Without The Favourite' market was possibly worth a go, as it discounted bookies' favourite the Twins. So, you were effectively gambling on who would come top out-of all the other finalists.

It seemed to us that a bet on Brian would be money in the bank, as it wouldn't matter if he came 1st or 2nd Overall, you would still win your bet. However, the odds are rather low, so it's not like you'll become a millionaire or anything!

At 1/6, if you staked the maximum amount of £650, you would stand to win a profit of £108 plus your stake back. Obviously, however, if Brian came 3rd you would lose your whole stake.

The odds on that market have now gone from 1/6 to 1/7 to 1/10; still worth a punt if you think that Brian won't come any lower than 2nd place. Placing the maximum stake at the odds of 1/10 would win you £65 profit, and a stake of £100 would win you a 'tenner.

But today, with just one day to go until the Finale, another BB betting market has caught our eye, and that's the 'Finishing Positions' market.

You can currently get the odds of 7/2 on the possible outcome of: Twins 1st, Brian 2nd, Ziggy 3rd. So, if you think that's the likely outcome now, that moneybags Liam has possibly dropped down to 4th place and Brian is still likely to come 2nd, then a £75 stake would win you over £260 profit, plus your stake back.

Even a £25 stake would win you almost £90 profit at those odds, and not only that, but new customers who join-up with online bookmaker Paddy Power before the weekend get a Free £25 Bet if they place a bet worth at least £25 (if you stake £10, they'll give you a Free £10 Bet etc.)

Effectively, you can't lose... well, you CAN lose, but you know what we mean. However, even if you study the Polls around the internet and think the above sound like good bets, please don't stake more than you can afford to lose.

We've never lost a big bet (touch wood!), but frankly if we lost hundreds-of-pounds we'd be annoyed, but not skint. We just don't want people to get carried away and bet their entire pay packet or rent money just 'cos we gave them the idea. After all, it can still be fun to stick a little £10 bet on.
