Liam's Pleased To Be A 'Big Personality'

While his pal Ziggy was unhappy with the comments made about him by a celebrity during yesterday's Quiz, Liam was chuffed about being dubbed a 'big personality' during the same event.

Taking the BB8 Finalists on a trip down memory lane yesterday (a thinly-disguised way to stir things up on the part of Big Brother), the all-seeing entity showed clips of ex-housemates, fans and TV personalities talking about the six contenders.

In one of the clips, a member of the public described one housemate as a 'big personality' and Brian immediately thought the guy was talking about Carole, saying, "It's obvious who it is". However, it seemed obvious to us that it was Liam, which it was.

Chatting to Ziggy in the garden this afternoon about the comment, Liam asked Zig, "Did that bloke yesterday say I had a big personality? That's an alright thing, isn't it?"

Ziggy confirmed that's what he'd said and the tree surgeon replied, "I've never really considered myself to be a big personality". The Geordie boy did, however, consider himself to be a 'canny lad', and while that word can mean shrewd, in this case we think Liam meant decent/ pleasant/ 'sound'.

Dismissing the negative remarks directed at his friend from former housemate Nicky, Ziggy suggested that a comment made by a member of the public and fan of the show meant more than a former housemate's bitchy snipe.

Indeed, but we wouldn't automatically think of Liam if we were asked to name some big 'Big Brother' personalities.

We say that because people like BB8's Shabnam, BB7's Shahbaz, BB6's Makosi, BB5's Victor and, of course, BB3's Jade Goody spring to mind when thinking about big characters and contestants that were impossible to ignore.

Let's stick with 'canny', eh Liam?
