Who Goes Tonight? You (Half) Decide!
We're now eleven weeks in, and another housemate will leave
tonight as the 10th Evictee of the series, having lasted longer
in the game than 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Evictees Shabnam, Seany,
Billi and Laura, 'fake' evictee Charley (who returned immediately),
and 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th Evictees Nicky, Charley, Shanessa,
David and Amy.
However, even though the eviction is just hours away, we
have no idea who'll go tonight. Well, we say we have
no idea, but we do have a rough idea; for the first time in
weeks though, we're not certain (as we have been with most
of the other evictions).
As you probably know, Ziggy, 'Samanda' and Tracey are immune
from facing eviction this week, having become Gurus during
the recent Enlightenment task. So, Brian, Carole, Gerry, Jonty,
Kara and Liam are all 'up', however the public ultimately
don't decide who goes tonight...
For, although fans can vote for their least favourite housemate/s
as usual, the two least popular nominees – the ones
who get the most votes – will go in-front of the three
Gurus during tonight's live eviction show, and their peers
will decide which one to kick-out.
Unfortunately, unless the public vote tactically in a bid
to shake things up, the outcome of tonight's eviction could
be more predictable than if Big Brother hadn't implemented
its latest twist.
We say that because a week ago, everyone thought that Kara
or Jonty would join fellow latecomer Amy on the outside this
week. However, fans have now decided that they've had enough
of Carole and her bizarre 'friends one minute, falling-out
the next' behaviour.
So, things consequently became less predictable because there
was a good chance that the oft-tearful and overtly-controlling
53-year-old would be chucked out this week (i.e. in a normal
eviction).
Now, however, it seems obvious that the Gurus will choose
to send latecomer Kara-Louise home if she goes up
against longstanding housemate Carole, as our latest Poll
suggests might happen.
That said, the bookies have Gerry as the favourite to go,
and indeed he is very close to Kara in the Polls,
so he may well join Carole as one of the two potential evictees
tonight. The upshot is that you can still get the reasonable
odds of 9/4 on Kara going, or 4/1 on Carole (which could be
a good bet if you think she might offer to leave).
A £15 bet on Carole at those odds would win you a profit
of £60, and a £25 Bet on Kara would win you over
£55 profit. Plus, if you're a new customer of online
bookmaker Paddy Power, you'll be given a Free Bet of up to
£25, so you can't really lose.

Who stays, who goes? YOU decide!
You have until around 9.15pm tonight, Friday the 17th of
August 2007, to register your vote/s for the person you'd
most like to see face the Gurus at the 10th Eviction. Remember,
it only costs 25p to vote this year and some of that money
goes to charity. The voting telephone numbers can be found
here.
