Gerry And Carole Upset Over Obstacle Course
The group were set an obstacle course today to find the 'Body
Guru' for the latest task, but two housemates got upset...
in two different ways.
Returning from the Diary Room with a laminate explaining
the latest challenge, Liam read it aloud to the group: "Today,
housemates will have their physicality tested. Outside is
a test to challenge every muscle and sinew in the body".
Indeed, out in the garden Big Brother had installed a full
obstacle course, complete with monkey bars, tyres, balancing
poles, camo nets, a sand pit and the swimming pool.
And while Mind Guru Ziggy was exempt from taking part, Gerry
was also prohibited due to his dodgy back, which upset the
Greek researcher and made him cry.
Having got depressed and disappointed because he'd been calling
for physical tasks for ages, Gerry blubbed in the bathroom
alone, telling himself, "I came here to be strong; I
didn't come here to watch other people being strong. I'm so
unlucky, I pulled a muscle the day before a physical task".
Aww, poor Gezza.
It means, of course, that the 31-year-old can't win immunity
this week, which is enough to make a grown man cry all by
itself, especially one who was probably looking forward to
safeguarding his position in the game.
Meanwhile, Carole was getting upset in an 'angry' way, after
refusing to take part when the shoes provided by Big Bro didn't
fit her very well.
"I'm going on strike," threatened the oldest housemate,
after moaning that she needed round-toed trainers or her feet
would swell-up and go numb. And the 53-year-old eventually
lost her temper and moaned, "Enough! Just size 6 rounded
toes. Please... oh enlightened ones".
But the all-seeing entity wasn't listening, and Carole eventually
backed down when Kara-Louise got her talking about the course.
"I was about 8, 8-and-a-half stone once... and I still
couldn't do it," said the former sexual health worker
about crossing the monkey bars, so Kara told her that she'd
just have to accept a 30-second penalty and move faster around
the rest of the course.
Kara's too polite to say it, but what she actually meant
was: 'Shut up, stop whinging and get your ar*e into gear Carole!'
