The Venerable Zigster Is Crowned 'Mind Guru'
Big Brother has found its first Guru for the Enlightenment
Task, crowning Ziggy the 'Mind Guru' this afternoon after
his efforts in the intelligence tests.
First, the group sat on cushions earlier today and completed
a general knowledge test. However, they managed a distinctively
average collective score of 38 out-of 90.
This afternoon they had to improve by at least 10%, and duly
took part in a second test where they scored a collective
48 out-of 90; an improvement of 26% over their previous effort.
Yay!
After announcing the result, Big Bro added, "The housemate
with the greatest mind improvement – a whopping 200%
– is Ziggy".
"That means he got one right this morning and three
this afternoon!" quipped Carole, but it didn't matter
as the former boyband member had become the first Guru for
his efforts. He was therefore above competing in any future
training or tests, and would wear a talisman, better robe
and an 'Evan Almighty' style beard and wig from now on!
About the news, a cautious Ziggy asked, "Is it like
a catch, or anything?" but he had nothing to worry about.
In fact, his elevated status meant that the 26-year-old is
now immune from eviction this week, and will be joined by
a couple more of his peers over the coming two days.
"I feel delighted to be saved from nomination. I wasn't
really the bright kid at school, I was more into sport and
stuff," said the music man, adding confidently, "I
will make a good Guru though. I thought I'd be the last person
in the House to be a Guru, but sometimes you surprise yourself".
He then told his peers, "I've never won a single thing,
even teachers hated me... I can honestly say I never thought
I'd win anything”.
Yep, humility compliments your wisdom very well mate... erm,
Sir... Your Highness... er, Your Presence.
