Group Passes 'Cheesy Dream' Task

Big Brother turned 'boffin' this evening and decided to test the theory that eating cheese before you sleep gives you weird dreams.

The all-seeing entity laid-on a spread of cheeses including Stilton, Edam, Brie and Red Leicester, and asked the housemates to don special Cheesy Helmets, which would hopefully pick-up on a special dream sequence as they kipped.

For when the eleven guinea pigs nodded-off, Big Bro created a dream sequence in the garden... which was basically three of the production team prancing around in the garden wearing white masks and dressed as a clown, Kylie and a hot dog!

With the Twins' helmets joined together, everyone tried to nod-off as Big Bro dimmed the lights and played relaxing music. It wasn't especially relaxing, however, when Jonty passed wind and giggled, and Carole eventually cracked-up.

Still, after about an hour the experiment was over, and when called to the Diary Room to reveal what they dreamt about, some of the group were surprisingly close to Big Bro's simultaneous garden performance.

Sam and Amanda told the omnipresent power that they'd dreamt of bouncy castles, balloons, candy floss and big animals, but then Amanda suddenly added, "Maybe a clown?" Hmm, spooky.

Of course, it was probably a combination of imagination, guesswork and her childish outlook that made Mandy say it, but the group were half-way towards passing the task nevertheless.

And when Liam came to the Diary Room to reveal what he'd been dreaming about, after waffling about some totally unrelated stuff, the Geordie explained that the people in his dream were wearing white masks. Amazing!

Announcing the result, Big Brother said, "The dream being acted-out was a piece of performance art called 'dance Allen dance', based on the life of a mortgage advisor from Gateshead".

The group were then told that they had passed the task and that a reward would be provided in due course.

Let's just hope it's not the after-dinner favourite, cheese and biscuits!
