Liam Gloats About History Quiz Failure

Jonty and Gerry failed a 'history knowledge' task this afternoon and Liam couldn't help but gloat about it!

When Big Brother announced that the two most historically-knowledgeable housemates had to come forward and questions about people, events and facts from throughout the ages, confirmed history spods Jonty and Gerry rushed to the Diary Room to take part.

However the self-proclaimed history experts, who dressed-up in ridiculous space-age outfits to participate in the quiz, managed to answer just 7 out of the 10 questions correctly, meaning they'd failed the task.

"It's the thing that you've brought into the House and talk about the most, but you didn't manage to pass," said Liam to Gerry in the garden, half-joking but getting-in a dig at the same time.

Gerry just came back with, "You'd have probably got 4 out of 10... I don't think anyone would have done much better".

But Liam wouldn't let it go, telling his peer, "For somebody who's an expert in a subject, you let yourself down a little bit. And not only did you let yourself down, you let the team down. How do you feel about that, Gerry?"

When Gerry protested that he couldn't have possibly known the answer to a football question, Liam laughed and said, "'Just kidding!"

Mind you, he did have a point seeing as both are educated men who've worked in museums and read lots of history books. Blimey, if they can't get the answers right, what chance did the person who nearly made it into the Diary Room stand...?
