Housemates Sweat-It-Out To Win Pool Party

We told you in an exclusive article yesterday that the House would open-up today to reveal a larger pool and cocktail bar. Well, that's exactly what happened this afternoon as a result of the group passing a sweat-inducing task.

At around midday today, Big Bro made everyone dress-up in special sweat-gathering suits (basically, silly 'Fame' style outfits designed to make them all look stupid) and perform an aerobic workout to music.

The group had to collectively amass 50 grams of sweat in their clothing (ewww!) to pass the task, and Amanda was only permitted to 'interpret the music in an artistic style' because of her dodgy ankle.

Anyway, they duly collected more-than-enough perspiration (253 grams), in-part thanks to the enthusastic efforts of Jonty, who Amanda had already predicted would win it for the group because he's a sweaty Betty. Nice!

And she was right, as the balding 36-year-old was duly crowned 'The Sweatiest Housemate' by Big Brother, having generated 73 grams all on his own.

When the all-seeing entity revealed the reward, the housemates were excited as an excited thing who's just won an award for being excitable! (thanks to Black Adder for that one - Ed).

Upon first seeing the extended pool and cocktail bar, complete with inflatable chairs, bar stools and, of course, plenty of beverages, a hyper Amanda jumped straight in to the pool, still wearing her expensive microphone. Oops!

"It's fantastic," declared Gerry. "Charley will be gutted," stated Carole. "Can you believe this has been here all this time?" added Brian.

So, the group were given their own Club Tropicana and yes, as in the song, the drinks were free!
