Emily Has Been Kicked-Out
Drama student Emily Parr has been dramatically kicked-out
of the Big Brother House for using a racially offensive word
and breaking the fundamental rules of the game.
Sat in the garden with Charley and Nicky at around 8.30pm
last night (Day 8), the nominee was heard to use the phrase,
"Are you pushing it out, n*gger?"
Emily immediately made it clear that she hadn't meant to
offend anyone, adding that she has black friends. Her peers
agreed that they hadn't been offended, however they subsequently
expressed shock at the language used.
Emily acknowledged that she should have been more careful,
but frankly even Aisleyne from BB7 – who was black in
all but colour – wouldn't have got away with it this
year.
In a recent Poll asking 'Who's The Least Intelligent Girl?'
(inspired by a task), Emily was beaten by Tracey, Chanelle,
Shabnam and Charley, the latter being the housemate fans thought
was thickest.
However, this latest incident proves, if nothing else, that
although Emily gave herself 10 out of 10 for intelligence,
she must be completely and utterly stupid in light of January's
(CBB5) huge race row and the furore that caused.
Indeed, prior to entering the House, all the BB8 housemates
were made strongly aware that such language and behaviour
would not be tolerated; Channel 4 staff are hot on the case
this year, scrutinising all the goings-on with a fine tooth
comb in conjunction with programme-makers Endemol.
On that note, although the incident was not transmitted,
an inquiry was launched and the 19-year-old Bristolian was
called into the Diary Room at around 3.30am and removed from
the game with immediate effect. The group was told the news
first thing this morning.
It is not clear at this stage whether she'll be replaced
with another female housemate, but Friday night's 1st Eviction
has now been scrapped and the voting suspended. To re-iterate,
there is NO eviction on Friday the 8th of June, when Emily
would mostly likely have survived.
Channel 4 have yet to announce what will happen to all the
money spent on votes so far, and we've written another article
detailing what happens to your stake if you placed a bet on
the 1st Eviction with Paddy Power. You can find that here.
