Ziggy's 'Speed Dating' Session Is Anything-But
Zig had a marathon task on his hands today: he had to wine
and dine all the females in 1-to-1 dates, eating a different
course of food every time he met another girl!
The point of the task was for him to get to know more about
his peers, seeing as he'll be the only housemate nominating
for Friday's 1st Eviction.
The rules were that Ziggy had to remain in the special Dining
Room until he'd entertained all eleven girls, spend at least
10 minutes with each one, eat all eleven courses, every girl
had to eat one course, only one girl was allowed in with him
at any one time, and no food or drink could be taken away.
When the task got going late in the afternoon, things went
swimmingly and the first three dates were over in around an
hour. However, much to Zig's frustration, proceedings slowed
down drastically after that, and the poor lad was completely
knackered by the time his last date arrived at around midnight.
During his first date, the boyish blonde told Trace that
the pair were completely different characters. In response
his guest said cheekily, "Opposites attract!" The
27-year-old acknowledged that crazy cleaner Tracey could probably
teach him a lot, and re-iterated that he considered her a
friend.
And when he went off on a tangent, talking about how he always
chooses the wrong girls, Zig quickly brought the focus back
to Tracey. What a smoothie!
During Zig's date with Amanda, he established that she would
prefer to be counted as one in the voting along with her sister,
and also that the Twins would rather do something in fashion,
than social work.
Cackler Carole spoke to Ziggy about many things during her
date, including her fostering experience and 21 years of HIV
work. The music man thanked her at the end and said, "I've
never laughed so much".
Shabnam talked non-stop, Lesley quizzed him about what he
was hoping to get out of his BB experience and Emily jokingly
told Zig, "You're the best-looking man in this house"...
...which would have been a great compliment had it not been
for the fact that he's the only man in the House!
But Ziggy saved the best 'til last, making would-be bird
Chanelle his final date.
The pair got on like a house on fire, with Chanelle saying
he was a Casanova and Ziggy hilariously mis-hearing her when
she said at the end, "Let's get to bed". Chanelle
was basically telling him that she was tired; Zig thought
she was inviting him to her bed!
Reflecting on his exhausting day in the Diary Room, Ziggy
told Big Bro, "Thank you for everything. I had a lot
of fun and my last date was cool". However, he also told
the all-seeing entity that he'd enjoyed his dates with Lesley
and Carole too.
So, it remains to be seen just who Ziggy bonded with and
who he thinks the House can do without.
