Third Nominations In Detail: Suzie's Reasons
There wasn't actually a proper round of nominations on Day
26, as Big Brother implemented one of its famous twists: whichever
two housemates Golden Ticket newbie Suzie named, would definitely
become the nominees. To re-iterate, no-one else was allowed
to vote.
Arriving after Sam had been booted-out on Friday night, the
43-year-old model had been in the House for well over 48 hours
when she made her nominations. During that time she'd invited
four of her peers to attend a slap-up meal on Saturday night.
We speculated in a previous article that the housemates most
likely to be in the firing line this week were Grace, Lisa
and Nikki, and we were right, for Suzie chose the former and
the latter to face eviction.
About first nominee Nikki, Suzie said, "I think she's
amusing, but in small quantities". The newcomer went
on to say that Nikki's overly-dramatic behaviour can be irritating.
Also, her exaggerated hand gestures and manner of speaking
can grate. "I feel that it's very much a stage show...
it's very 'Diva'." Suzie also found Nikki's naivety a
bit silly (unbelievable) given that she's 24 and allegedly
has a model-type lifestyle. Nikki's stroppy behaviour was
also deemed very childish.
Suzie's second choice was Grace, stating, "I have felt
slightly scrutinised by her... I think she was more suspicious
of me than everybody else in the group when I first arrived".
She went on to say that Grace is quite calculating and is
a 'hard player' i.e. goes looking for competition. Although
Suzie acknowledged that there has been no hostility towards
her from Grace, she'd become aware of the dancer getting snappy
and losing her temper over a trivial matter.
So, Grace and Nikki face possible eviction at the 4th Eviction
on Friday the 16th of June 2006, and it was all Suzie's doing!
